Hi, friends! I’m Jennifer Allen. Pleased to “meet” you. We’re so excited to share accessible adventures for all types of families. As a lover of travel, the number of countries I’ve traveled to matches my age (I don’t have to say what that is, right?). Now my children can have the same boast. Exploring, expanding my world view, understanding different cultures, and learning through experience are all fuels to my personal fire, and now they shape the way I parent and teach my children. Age and disabilities change the way we explore, but they just make the journey that much more rewarding! Backstory I’m mom to two preschoolers and a first grader, and wife to one youth pastor… or does that just make me a mom of four? Three kids and a week at Disney (including 19 hours in the car) After teaching for eight years, seven years teaching English in public school and one year in an international school in Taiwan, I took some time off to focus on two babies and a preschooler at home. Nella was a happy surprise along the adoption journey to bring Jaden home, so we affectionately call them “the twins,” since they’re the same age. Wesley, now age seven is a self-proclaimed lover of adventure and beautiful things. After “diagnosis day,” I ended up extending my leave to manage medical appointments and various therapies. I still take on occasional side hustles, but my main gig is chaos management. Because of all these appointments (and a job my husband loves), we’re firmly rooted in Pennsylvania; but, we explore as often as we can!
